Craft Australia

Website will remain operational to an extent

The Craft Australia Library was established in the 1970s as an educational resource to support and facilitate growth in the Australian craft and design sector. Along with a library of books, editorials, magazines and catalogues a slide collection documenting the work of contemporary Australian craft and design artists was established. This unique, specialist research Library is located in Canberra and remains accessible to the public.

To complement this resource, and in response to the need for Australian craft and design to be seen globally, Craft Australia has developed an online Library that publishes articles, essays and papers on the current discourse about contemporary craft and design..
