By The Department of Innovation

7 October 2010

Abstract

Powering Ideas- An innovation Agenda for the 21st Century is the Government's response to the review of the national innovation system undertaken by Dr Terry Cutler in 2008. This is a ten year blue print for the support of innovation in Australia. As Senator Kim Carr, Minister for Innovation, Industry Science and Research states in his forward "Tough times demand creative solutions. Powering Ideas will help us find those solutions. It will help us transform challenges into opportunities, risks into rewards." This report presents some exciting opportunities for the future of the Australian craft and design industry.
